The Wise Minds method
Our system to deliver milestone after milestone for scale ups
A system built on experience
We have built a system that is the result of all the years we have spent helping scale up teams deliver milestone after milestone.
We’ll take you in a journey to explore how we work, what are the next steps, and how the collaboration would look like in the first three months.
And of course, if you’re a fit for this method, we would love to explain all the other details and answer all kinds of questions on a call.

The delivery cycle
We work with two week cycles, prepared upfront by two weeks in a roadmap session between the leadership of the product unit and your leadership.
Sprints start on Tuesday, preceded by an understanding session. In this session, the team is informed about the scope of the sprint and the sprint refinement is done.
Just before the start of week 2 of the sprint (second Tuesday), we have another understanding session. This one, because it’s in the middle of the sprint, is mainly about alignment. It also helps the product unit leadership to answer any questions the team has about the functionality.
After the sprint is completed, the complete scope is prepared to be delivered on the Wednesday following the sprint.
Your leadership's role
Your leadership is expected to be involved in the roadmap sessions. These sessions are necessary for our product unit to be aligned to the goals of your business.
For transparency purposes, your leadership is allowed to join the following sessions:
- The first understanding session of each sprint. In this sessions the scope is introduced.
- The demo, where the delivered work of the last sprint is demonstrated and eventually deployed to production. This includes a sprint review.
- Two daily stand-ups a week. This helps to create some kind of team bonding.
- The second understanding session of each sprint. In this sprint, new raised questions from the team are answered.
How it all starts

Sometimes we can start before completing the whole team.
Step 4: Warming up period
