What are the 7 ticks?
As Luyendijk describes in his book, your chances are huge when you are born with the following 7 characteristics:
You speak General Civilized Dutch
You are white
You are highly educated
Your parents are highly educated
You are heterosexual
You are male
And you live in the Randstad.
But people with fewer ticks deserve just as many opportunities! We strive to give people with few ticks the chance to become an IT specialist.

What we see, is the moment you have potential, but do not meet those ticks, your talent often is not recognized. Or you need extra evidence before it is noticed. There has to be a huge bridge built to let this potential come to fruition. To create that evidence. If successful, you will be seen, and appreciated. Because you are just needed.
